April’s brand of the month is none other than MIZON. Established in 2000, Mizon is known to be a brand which is highly dedicated and committed to using only high quality ingredients incorporated with advanced technology. The brand’s products range from skincare, hair care, body care and even makeup! Mizon pride themselves on the fact that their entire brand is manufactured in the heart of South Korea.
Just give a little insight as to how successful the brand has been, Mizon has been awarded many accolades. They have been recipients of the ‘Outstanding Technology Enterprise’ and ‘Venture Enterprise’ awards from the South Korean Government. If you are not entirely familiar with the brand, they are popular for their snail-mucin based products as they are known to produce remarkable results! I have tried and tested most of the MIZON products Luxe Loft has to offer and truly love products and the brand as a whole. I especially gravitate towards the snail repair and vitamin lines. Mizon has a variety of different product ranges and products to try so to make it easier we have outlined our top 5 MIZON products for you.
1. MIZON REAL VITAMIN C CLEANSING BALM 🍊:
The unique gooey texture and powerful ingredients truly make this a hero product for Luxe Loft! This balm is perfect for effectively melting makeup off the skin and any oil based debris on your skin. I’d recommend using this product on days when you’re not wearing makeup but your skin may be exposed to various pollutants.
The formula contains 1,000ppm of orange peel and vitamin tree oil which aid in correcting uneven skin tones, leaving the skin looking radiant and glowy. A mixture of lavender, olive, basil, vegetable extracts and geranium oils work incredibly to deliver various moisturising and antioxidant benefits.
This balm is so easy to use and the natural fragrances are just amazing. I recommend scooping out a small amount and melting it between the palms of your hands before applying it onto you dry skin. Then massage in circular motions to break down and dissolve any make up and/or dirt build-up on the skin, I like to use this time for a quick anti ageing and lymph drainage facial massage. Add a splash of lukewarm water which will turn the product into a milky texture and continue massaging the product into your skin for a few more minutes before rinsing off. Follow with the rest of your skin care regime.

2. MIZON NO. 1 MOIST KING BERRY CLEANSER:
This silky cleansing oil contains black chokeberries (also commonly known as King’s berries). Chokeberries are packed with more essential vitamins and antioxidants that are found in grapes and tannins found in green tea. This cleansing oil effectively cleanses pores while still hydrating the skin, keeping it moisturised and soft. The potent antioxidants in the product protect the skin from various environmental factors as well as boost the skin’s elasticity. The No. 1 Moist King Berry Cleanser is free of parabens, fragrances, artificial colours and alcohol. This is an ideal product for dry to combination skin types as well as sensitive skin.
Oil cleansers should be used twice daily to remove not only make up but excess sebum and any other oil based impurities in your skin. Massage about 1 pump worth of product onto dry skin, focusing on areas such as your T-zone and other blackhead prone areas. Lastly finish by cleansing away any build up on the eyes and lips. Add some lukewarm water, so the oil emulsifies and turns into a milky consistency and massage into the skin for a few minutes. Ensure to thoroughly rinse away the oil and follow up with a water based cleanser to remove any remaining residue.

3. MIZON COLLAGEN POWER LIFTING EYE CREAM:
This eye cream is specially designed for more sensitive, weak eyes. It contains a high concentrate of collagen to lift wrinkles, promote skin elasticity and keep skin supple and moisturised. This product is free of fragrances, artificial colour and parabens which make it ideal for sensitive skin.
The under eye area is the most delicate part of your face, always apply product with a light touch. Using your ring finger gently dab a pea-sized amount around the eye area until fully absorbed.

4. MIZON BIO COLLAGEN AMPOULE:
We love this ampoule oh so much because it is formulated with 50% collagen, as well as peptides. These ingredients work hand in hand in promoting the synthesis of collagen in your skin. Leaving skin feeling and looking firm, plump and supple. This ampoule is popular because it contains a blend of glycerin, panthenol and hyaluronic acid which combats dehydrated skin.

Ampoule are often confused for essences but think of an ampoule as a concentrated treatment which addresses your specific skin concern.
